Really it ins't so much as a blog as it is a revolution. I don't really know that we founded Free Bacon Tuesday as much as Free Bacon Tuesday found us.
The 1st time I rolled out a Free Bacon Tuesday I heard 2 questions over and over again.
1st Question - "is this and actual thing." Honestly, at the time it was going to be a 1 time thing. But it was such a hit I kept it rolling.
2nd Question - Imagine an extremely puzzled face. "What? What is Free Bacon Tuesday?????" I've soul searched quite a bit for a good answer. There's just so much going on in my head, so many emotions. I managed to come up with the following explanation. Well, Free Bacon Tuesday is where I give you Free Bacon, and its Tuesday."
Yes. So simple it is genious! And with that a revolution was born. My goal is to get every corporation in America to offer their employee a Free Bacon Tuesday.
In our office over at Magazines.com, once a month we celebrate Free Bacon Tuesday. We have roughly 60 employees, most of us love bacon. There are a handful of....um....er....we'll call them "different" people that don't like bacon or don't eat bacon. (bunch of wierdo's they are!) We cook up 100 pieces of bacon and hand them out!
